This recently was exhibited when S had to give up working at the capitol* this legislative season due to us only having one working car and seven jobs between the four of us who are wage-earners. Thank heavens most of my three part-time jobs can be done in the comfort and convenience of my home -- but there are times I required to leave it to complete my responsibilities. Of course, hubby needs the car most days and evenings, too for that matter, to do his job. K needs it four times a week to get to and fro from her job at the library. S does her PAC work mostly from home.
So pardon me while I bask in the glow of a young lady whose maturity is dazzling me, and whose attitude is sparkling!
I love ya, sweetie! And I'm sorry you had to give up this part of your dream for now, but I'm proud of you for knowing that it's temporary. The above picture was taken for her first Christmas!
(*S has worked at the state capitol for the past four legislative seasons. She dearly wanted to again this season, but with us living so far away from it (over 70 miles one way), we just couldn't get it to work.)

Aw, thanks mom! But... why that picture?!?!
Cuz you're just so dog-gone cute in that photo! You're smiling from your head to your tiny little corn-niblet toes in there.
