Love Me Tender -- Elvis Presley
We had a friend sing this at our wedding over 21 years ago. It still clutches at my heart.
When we had returned from Japan, and were then living in the frozen north known as Great Falls, Montana, I remember being sick one day and staying home from school. That means I was in kindergarten, because at the end of my kindergarten year we moved from Montana to Colorado. Anyway... I remember staying home from school and getting to watch the movie "Love Me Tender" on television. I also remember being very upset at the end of the movie (spoiler here for those who haven't seen it) because I thought that Elvis had really died like his character in the movie.
My mom comforted me with her reassuring words in my ear that Elvis wasn't dead and it didn't matter if our comfort was in Jesus.

Elvis was not the most talented person to sing...but oh his songs still touch me today. Perhaps, it is my age as I was a teenager during the reign of "the king".
