Waiting

As we wait for Dream Power to return our calls, the weather grows colder and we fear for the safety of the abandoned kitties.

It is almost routine now to feed them milk and kitty chow in the morning and evening and to play with them in the back yard a few times a day.

As you know, if you read the previous post, they have also been named.

I was talking with our youngest, R, and trying to prepare her for the eventual departure of these kitties. I explained that some of us could not live in the house with them because of allergies.

She said those people could live next door and she would visit them every day.

I think we're in for a major heartache here when the kitties go.
