Last night was our homeschool group's Promotion Ceremony. It's a time when we come together for a meal, and have a little ceremony where we present certificates to the children that have been composed by their parents. The certificates need to be 100 words or less per child.
I was the one reading the certificates to all those in attendance as the child whose certificate was being read stood up front and looked back at mom and dad for pictures. Assisting me was my husband, who, some of you may know, is a professional Boy Scout.
One of the 13-year old's certificate discussed the many merit badges that he had earned. This is, of course, something any parent would be proud of.
Too bad I said, "marrige badges" instead!
Later on last evening, I joked with my hubby that perhaps the Boy Scouts should consider adding a marriage merit badge. :-)

Well, your husband got his!
He certainly has!
Maybe the badge should be for the professional Boy Scouts! :-)
