Breast Cancer

My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2005. It's been an ordeal, one that she says humbles her each time she goes to the cancer treatement center. At the CTC she receives a monthly shot to encourage early menopause as her cancer was estrogen related. At the CTC she sees many other folks going through radiation and chemotheraphy. My sister's cancer was caught early. Surgery and this shot are the treatment. She considers herself blessed.

I consider myself blessed to have her in my life. So this is my plea to not delay. Take advantage of the wonderful medical technology that's available and get your mammogram regularly as prescribed by your doctor. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
