Hi - sterical

R is reading, and has decided that many words in the English language are not spelled correctly. I would agree that there are many exceptions to the rules in both spelling and pronunciation.

Recently she was reading to me and came across the word "hysterical." She pronounced it "hi - sterical."

So that's the newest word in our family lexicon of words that have special meaning to us.

I love getting to tuck another child beside me and watch them discover the wonder of words! What a precious blessing it is to watch them learn to read. Thank you, Lord for this special blessing -- it's hi-sterical!
