I'm not a fan of CCM. It tries to hard to imitate secular music with Christian themes as lyrics. I find it helpful to look to who is driving the verb: I, me, you or Christ, our Savior, God the Father, or the Holy Spirit.
However, I do really like this one, sinner and full of contradictions that I am.
Just a little segue into our life as a homeschooling family.

I agree. There is very little CCM that doesn't focus on OUR works or that WE will love Christ forever and follow him perfectly. I have a really hard time singing lyrics like that.
This is one of my favorites! CCM is like all other genres of music. There is good and bad and okay. Certainly not so bad as to be painted with a broad brush and overlooking all that is good about it. Of course... I totally paint Rap with a broad brush and don't really care if there is any nuggets in there or not.
