Can you believe that the revolutionists who died to seperate us from Great Britain were protesting taxes less than 6%? Wonder what they would think of the oppressive taxes of today and the call for more from the Obama/Biden ticket?

It is the doctrine of fear that I wish to highlight here as I don't subscribe to the One World Order theory which is total bunk.
The fear mongering that is so prevalent in the elections and make me long for the ... dare I say it? ... the British system of elections as far as timing of them is concerned. Did you know that the longest an election process can be is 8 weeks?

When I ventured out to the Internet to find the picture of the character Tarkin, my middle daughter was incredulous that I didn't know about that particular Star Wars sight prior to today. She is a Star Wars affecianado and so she's know about the site for quite some time.
And of course, you all know that Peter Cushing, who played Tarkin was also the mad scientist Dr. Frankenstein!
I've only seen the Star Wars Trilogy (and the 1st of the new movies) once, so I don't claim to have any knowledge of that...
But you're spot on with the fear mongering. It's getting downright ridiculous.
