So our girls are not really interested in football.at.all. They did happen to catch the half-time because they were helping to prepare dinner and I had the TV tuned to the Super Bowl. We didn't even know who the half-time entertainment was going to be. So as the music began we all thought it was a rather weak imitation of Queen's "We are the Champions", and then discovered that it was Prince who was singing. Although it was rather weird to hear him singing Credence Clearwater Revival's "Proud Mary", I thought Prince did a decent job overall.
S, however, commented when it was all over, that it should have been rated "D' for disturbing.
Too bad the Bears are playing so poorly. About 7 weeks after we were married, the Bears played the Patriots and won decisively 46 to 10. That was a happy day for hubby as he's been a life-long Bears fan. Today hasn't been, and so for him it's disturbing in another way.
